NEWNaturalwithSTEMS-300We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

What is an ice cream sundae without a cherry on top? Yet most of us forgo this treat because traditional maraschino cherries are the poster child for added red food coloring. Not so with CherryMan Farm to Market Maraschinos.

CherryMan cherries are not only free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, they are 100% American. Sourced to American farms, packed in American made jars and sweetened with American syrup and sugar. Available with and without stems, each jar has a QR (quick read) code that can be scanned to reveal the origins of the cherries and the story behind the growers.

We learned that our CherryMan cherries were Royal Ann variety and they came from Elliott Farms founded in 1882, in Oregon’s Willamette Valley.  CherryMan and Elliott Farms have worked together for 45 years.

One cherry on top of dessert or a fruit cup or in a cocktail adds mostly color and a punch of sweet flavor. Each cherry has 10 calories and 2 grams of sugar.

CherryMan Farm To Market Maraschinos are kosher (OU) certified.
