Fast Fact: White Bread is Not a Killer

A comprehensive review of research showed that eating refined grains – white bread, pasta and white flour – did not increase your risk of disease, as long as the refined grains didn’t come with added fat, sugar and sodium. On the other hand, eating more whole grain foods – whole wheat, oatmeal, popcorn – protects your against disease.

I just purchased “the Calorie Counter” by Nolan & Heslin. They have calories listed from many restaurants. However, how could they list Red Lobster Restaurant and Not give caloric content for the most ordered things on the menu…the lobster dishes and the shrimp dishes!
