New in the Market: SereniTea Green Tea Liquid Packets

We love to try new foods. Some are great. Some don’t measure up and some become staples in our kitchen. See what you think.

SereniTea produces USDA certified organic green tea in single-serving liquid packets that can be mixed with hot or cold water for an instant tea beverage. They would make a nice addition to your water bottle for a little extra taste.

SereniTea is available decaffeinated, unsweetened as plain, lemon, raspberry or peach.

Decaffeinated, presweetened varieties are lemon, raspberry, or peach. We tasted Lemon Presweetened and found the sweetness to be mild and pleasant. Sucralose (Splenda) is the no calorie sweetener used. There is also a caffeinated unsweetened plain. All varieties have zero calories and no fat, carb, sugar, fiber or sodium.

The source of the tea is from the Wuyi Mountains of China where it is harvested by hand and processed into a concentrated liquid. The brand claims to have twice the antioxidants found in brewed green tea due to the liquid concentration process. It is sold in boxes of 15 liquid packets for a suggested retail price of $7.39.
